Edran is the final character you unlock. He looks to be inspired by the Invisible Man, as only clothing items are seen in his character art. Edran is unlocked by opening the Purple chest at the end of a full 8 zone run with every other character. This requires 41 wins - 6 for each of the elements, and then 35 for each individual character win on a full run.
